Managing From a Place of Honesty

There used to be so much drama and chaos in my department. I didn’t realize it was all generating from my own avoidance of giving direct feedback. I was so concerned with hurting people’s feelings; after all I genuinely liked my staff and I didn't want to upset them. 

Now that I’ve taken the Navigating Challenging Dialogue Leadership Certification workshop I understand how to effectively give feedback using a combination of truth, empathy and focus on the good of the whole.
